This project was carried out by pupils from 5th and 6th class,
at Connolly National School, Kilmaley, Co. Clare, in 2004.
Plywood panels were painted in the classroom and mounted outside when completed.

The theme was the rural area covered by the catchment area of the school.
Imagery would include: houses old and new; shops, schools, churches in the area;
aspects of farming including animals, machinery and buildings; sports, music and other activities;
the individual townlands covered by the school. The name of the school in Irish was incorporated into the overall design.
