Work commissioned by Oidhreacht an Chláir for permanent exhibition in Áras OaC, Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare, 2010.
Oidhreacht an Chlair was established in 2003 with the aim of conserving and promoting the traditional arts in their natural environment.
Áras OaC, their permanent home, is situated in a fully refurbished premises on the Flag Road in Miltown Malbay.

The subject is the title of a tune composed by Tommy Peoples and a place very well known to him.
This painting uses a combination of several images to show clearly both the forge itself and the former shop.
